The Skull Mount Base is 14-gauge steel with a shelf and hook. We have painted the base and hook to guarantee the long-lasting durability of your European Mount Hanger.
 
The Acrylic Plaque with animal art is engraved on clear acrylic to match the animal hanging on the European Skull Mount.
 
The Photo Frame or Customized Engraved Plaque Options
                -The Photo Frame will hold a 4x6 inch photo of you and your harvest. To complete the mount with your photo, slide your photo between the Acrylic Animal Plaque and steel, as illustrated in the provided images.
                - The Customized Engraved Plaque can display any text you like. You can have up to 3 lines with a maximum of 25 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation. The most common text options include State, Unit, Date, first (Animal Type) for youth hunters, the youth hunter's name, Elevation, Score of Animal, etc. Should you opt for this option, we will email or text you a proof to confirm the engraving text layout before mounting it atop the clear acrylic.
 
The European Mount already comes equipped with ½ of the French Cleat Hanger installed, and the other ½ can be effortlessly installed on your wall using the provided sheetrock mollys and screws. You will need your tools for this task, including a level, a small pilot drill, and a Phillips #2 screwdriver. The French Cleat can accommodate a total weight of up to 50 pounds, while the European Skull Mount weighs approximately 5 pounds. The skull can have a maximum weight of 45 pounds.
